Twelve Things Happy People Do Differently

Standard

I saw this on Pinterest and it has alot of meaning to me. I’ve always been happy, but not like I am today. I a truly happy now, free of jealousy, harbored bad feelings, hate and everything that use to hold me back. These twelve things really are things that happy people do differently. Read each one and think about how you feel about them. Are you really happy? Do you do these things? If you don’t, then it’s time to CHANGE! Life is too short to live any way other than HAPPY! Starting this blog and selling my scarves has made me happy. Spending time with my family & friends has made me happy. Living life the way I want to live it has made me happy. Do what makes YOU happy! When you are truly happy, you will find yourself doing these things. Doing these things can also bring you happiness. It all starts with being grateful for what you have and realizing that everyone lives and leads different lives. Be respectful of that and don’t compare your life to others. Everyone should live for themselves!

About simple2something

I decided to start a blog because I am a natural “sharer”. I love to share ideas, recipes, thoughts and opinions with everyone I know. I am a working mother with two busy toddlers. I enjoy finding ways to save money and be thrifty. I’m a coupon clipper, sale shopper and DIY enthusiast. I love to cook, decorate, craft and try new things. I'm a Pinterest addict! I love to make homemade gifts and I make and sell Infinity Scarves in my Etsy Store. I recently started a new business, I partnered with two world renowned Doctor's to help people achieve the best skin of their life. I’m just a regular gal who enjoys spending time with her family and friends, traveling, cooking, decorating, crafting, helping people and trying new things. I hope you enjoy my blog and maybe pick up a few tips or learn something new. You never know when “simple” can turn into “something”.

  1. Love this, Kelsey, and have been striving to do these things in my life, too! A friend recommended a book that tells of sources of self limiting beliefs that take away joy and causes needless suffering. It’s a code of conduct that can change our lives to a new experience of freedom, true happiness, and love. It is titled “The Four Agreements” which are:

    1. Be impeccable with your word
    2. Don’t take anything personally
    3. Don’t make assumptions
    4. Always do your best

I love these points, except I would add to be eternally grateful for all in your life, good and bad. Another one that has helped me by reading often is:
“Always pray to have eyes that see the best in people, a heart that forgives the worst, a mind that forgets the bad, and a soul that never loses faith in God”

    Thank you! Great blog! xo

    • I agree with those “Four Agreements” and what you added too. Sometimes great experiences or opportunities come from the bad in your life. I’m a firm believer in everything happening for a reason, even if we don’t understand why.

  2. Wow I loved this insight. And I love how you’ve been inspired by what you are doing now. You are such a great writer as well as great at everything you do especially being a mommy. Liz
